The Icknield Way Ridgeway Link
Introduction
This linear route follows the ancient Icknield Way and passes through rolling chalk hills and woodlands, enjoying some of the finest scenery in the Chilterns. It can be started from Beacon Hill and walked south to north, or from Dunstable Downs if walking north to south.

How To Get There By Car
Beacon Hill is situated north-east of Ivinghoe on the B489. If starting from Dunstable, the Downs lie along the B4541 south of Dunstable, which lies on the A505 to the west of Junction 11 of the M1. There is car parking at the Chilterns Gateway Centre (there is a car park charge), and at the National Trust car park near Ivinghoe Beacon.
Start/Finish Point
This linear walk can be started from either Beacon Hill or Dunstable Downs.
