Ampthill Park is much more than a pleasant place to visit, it is a nationally important historic site. Once visited by Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, and later landscaped by Capability Brown, the Park is now home to ancient trees and varied wildlife.

Ampthill is situated in mid-Bedfordshire, approximately 8 miles south of Bedford on the A507.
There are two car parks off the B530 (Woburn Street) at OS Grid TL024382 and TL028382
