Sundon Hills and The Sharpenhoe Clappers are part of the Chilterns AONB. The ancient Icknield Way, said to be the oldest path in Britain, runs across the Sundon Hills and there is an Iron Age settlement to the North of the site. There are several car parks close by and many potential routes to walk through the areas of open access. Access End Date 31/08/2019
The area is accessed from the road between Upper Sundon and Harlington which can be reached from the A6 north of Luton, or from the A5120 just north of Junction 12 of the M1.
