How To Get There By Car

Henlow lies on the A6001 about 4.5 miles south of Biggleswade. It lies just to the north of the A507, about 2 miles east of Shefford.
Parking is available near the church in Henlow. Please do not obstruct the entrance.

This circular walk starts and finishes at St. Mary's Church in Church Road, Henlow.

Access Information:

Surface Types: You will walk across surfaces ranging from hard and firm with no stones greater than 5mm, to hard but variable surfaces with loose, variable sized stones, to grass or uncultivated earth paths without any ruts.'
Linear Gradient: The steepest gradients are between 1:6-1:9, between 1:10-1:13, between 1:14-1:17 and of 1:18 or less.  The gradient only apply over short distances.
Cross Falls: The steepest is 1:9 or steeper for a stretch of 10 metres on the path alongside Mulberry House.  Elsewhere there are crossfalls of 1:26 or less.
Width Restriction: There are no restrictions less than 1000mm.

Barriers: There are 2 kissing gates with a restriction of less than 1000mm and 2 one-way opening gates with a width of greater than 750mm.
Refreshments: There are three pubs in Henlow - The Five Bells, The Crown and the Engineers Arms. Henlow also has a post office and general store.

Seats: There are 2 seats - one near to Point 5 and one between Point 5 and Point 6 on the map.
