Ancient Walks in the North Bedfordshire Wolds - Upper Dean and Swineshead

Introduction
This is a 5 mile walk on ancient tracks and footpaths linking quiet villages. The walk has fine views and passes Swineshead Wood and Spanoak Wood where you will find a fine display of bluebells in the season.

How To Get There By Car
Upper Dean is to the north east of Swineshead. The Kimbolton Road, B660 takes you straight from Bedford to Pertenhall, then take the road to Swineshead, carry through the village and take the first right to Upper Dean. Please park carefully near Upper Dean Church.
