You are welcome to wander at will within the grassland fields along the river. This peaceful area is home to a range of wildlife from deer to kingfishers and features snowdrops in the spring. The permissive path creates a link in the right of way network and allows for longer circular walks to be undertaken. Access End Date 30.09.2011 (Natural Interest)

Start description This footpath is half way along the A600 between the two roundabouts at Shefford or from the existing right of way network below Chicksands Camp. Start Nat GR: TL131391

How to get there by car/ parking: Take the A600 south from Bedford. The site is accessible from this road between the two roundabouts when you reach Shefford.
