The site is a mixture of grassland, scrub and woodland, planted in 1980. These habitats support a variety of plants such as the pyramidal orchid and field scabious and insects like the gatekeeper and common blue butterfly. (natural interest)

Start Point: The Fields can be accessed from Dunstable Road to the south or via a footpath from Southwood Road to the north. Start Nat GR: TL044202

How to get there by car/parking: Dunstable is just to the west of Luton. The site is off the A5 (London Road) to the southern edge of Dunstable. There are no parking details available at present.
