Sundon Hills Country Park at SundonSundon Hills Country Park at Sundon

Situated at one of the highest points in Bedfordshire, the Sundon Hills offer fantastic views over the surrounding countryside. The site is important for many species of plants and animals including the Fly Orchid, Great Spotted Woodpecker, foxes and badgers. Parts of the walk can become muddy especially after heavy rain, so strong waterproof footwear is recommended. Take care where conditions are rough and do let someone know where you are going. Please be aware that much of the walk may be unsuitable for wheelchairs and difficult for pushchairs. (Natural Interest)

Start/Finish Point: The car park at Sharpenhoe Clappers. Start GR TL049286

How to get there by car: The Country Park is reached from the road between Upper Sundon and Harlington which can be reached from the A6 north of Luton, or from the A5120 just north of Junction 12 of the M1. There is a car park on the road between Upper Sundon and Harlington.
