This permissive footpath, provided under the Countryside Stewardship Scheme allows for a circular walk to be undertaken when used with the existing network. The farmer is managing the rest of the farm to improve the local landscape and to create areas for wildlife. Many wide grass strips have been established to encourage nesting birds. Start Point: This footpath can be found to the south west of Lower Shelton on the northern side of the A421 as it passes Marston Moretaine. Start Nat GR: SP994424

How to get there by car/parking: From Bedford go west on the A421, taking the right turn to Lower Shelton just after the start of the dual carriageway. Limited parking is available in Lower Shelton. Please park thoughtfully.
