Aspley Ride

Introduction

Explore Bedford Estate plantations on former heaths, passing some ancient woodland and several points of interest. This route is predominately in woodland, a mix of broadleaf and conifers, on mainly sandy ground. Most of the 1½ miles of roadwork is on quiet country lanes, but about ¼ mile is on a busy A road from Woburn Sands. This can be avoided if the northern loop is omitted.
